There are numerous ways to get involved at the zoo. Everything from donations, to volunteering, to "adopting" an animal.
Your gift to the Washington Park Zoo will have a significant impact on our programs, facilities and projects. We invite you to be a part of a generous community with the commitment and foresight to join the Zoo's vision for the future. Contribution can also be given to create a lasting tribute for your family, your company or foundation, or a loved one.
Donations can be made to the Zoo or the Zoological Society.
Every dollar helps! Thank you for your generous contributions – For more information contact us at 219-873-1510.
Share the Care Program
Adopt-an-Animal and support YOUR Zoo!
Furry, feathery or hairy…claws, paws, beaks or scales?
The ADOPT program offers animal lovers the opportunity to help the Washington Park Zoo and create a special bond with the animals.
All animals in the Zoo collection are available to ADOPT and all of the funds raised through our Adopt an Animal program support a variety of projects, including habitat improvement, animal enrichment, and training.
Adopting an animal makes a unique gift, perfect for any birthday, holiday, special occasion or commemoration. Give the perfect present to the person who has everything! Sponsorships are also great for office and club support causes.
1. Animal sponsors are good for one year and are renewable.
2. Due to popularity, some animals may be sponsored by many people.
3. No ownership rights are transferred by sponsoring an animal.
